Student Snapshot Poem | All About Me Activity | End of the Year Back to School
Snapshot Poems are a fun way for students to explore their values and learn more about each other. This activity is perfect for beginning of the year or end of the year.
I had my students write Snapshot Poems at the end of 5th grade for our promotion ceremony. Students wrote and typed the poems and I took a photo of them to go on the final draft. For our promotion ceremony, I recorded students reading one stanza from their Snapshot Poem and played the video during the ceremony for parents. This part of the ceremony was always a huge hit!
